Apple Strudel
About This Class
The classic Austrian pastry, Apple Strudel, is as fun to make as it is to eat! Learn how to make and stretch strudel dough thin enough to read a newspaper through it.
In this hands-on, intimate 4-person class, each student will work independently to stretch dough that's been resting for 24 hours, make and spread the apple filling, and roll up a family-sized strudel. Then learn how to make the dough from scratch. Students will also enjoy a slice of freshly baked apple strudel (instructor's strudel made in class).
Since apple strudel is a pastry best enjoyed within moments of coming out of the oven, students will leave with their family-sized strudel that is ready to bake later the same day or can be frozen for baking on a future date. All materials supplied.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of this class, all hair must be pulled back, all watches/bracelets/rings will need to be removed, and sleeves must be rolled up to the elbows during the class.
